Ottawa Water Polo Coach charged with sexual assault

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit has charged an Ottawa man with one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference on a teenaged female as a result of incidents that occurred between January 2018 to July 2018.

The incidents occurred while the man was employed as a water polo coach in Ottawa. Celso Rojas, 55-years-old, is scheduled to appear in show cause court today.

Investigators are concerned that there may be other victims and are asking them to contact police.
