Relay For Life Maxville proves community is bigger than cancer — over $73,000 raised

MAXVILLE – On Friday, June 7, the 19 Relay For Life was held at the Maxville Fairgrounds and raised $73,000.

“Thank you to our teams, event participants, survivors, volunteers community sponsors for making making it a very special evening,” says St. Jean, Community unity Fundraising Fundraising Specialist.

“Due to the extraordinary put forth by all these people, people, we exceeded our fundraising goal proved that community is bigger than cancer!

Funds raised through Relay For Life are changing lives for the better funding ground-breaking research research into more than 100 types of cancer, offering programs and services services that help people with cancer and families when they’re unsure unsure or anxious and advocating to governments important cancer-related issues to drive important social change funding.
