South Stormont man charged with sexual assault in regards to several young girls

Update: Additional charges laid after another victim came forward

SOUTH GLENGARRY — SD&G OPP Crime unit laid additional charges on July 8, following further investigation in which an additional victim came forward. 

The 48-year old male resident of South Stormont faces charges of: 

– Sexual Assault

– Sexual Exploitation 

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria court on July 10. 

The above charges are in relation to incidents involving several young girls. 

The name of the accused is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victims.

 

SOUTH GLENGARRY — A 48-year-old male from South Stormont was arrested on numerous counts of sexual assault on June 6. SD&G OPP investigation indicated the male had sexually and physically touched several young females known to him.

The male resident of South Stormont faces charges of:

– Five counts of Sexual Assault

– Four counts of Sexual Exploitation

– Two counts of Assault

He was released and is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on July 10.

The above charges are in relation to incidents involving several young girls.

The name of the accused is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victims.
