EMBRUN — July 8 through July 14, officers with the Russell County OPP responded to 356 calls for service. The calls for service including:
Domestic assaults
LIMOGES — A domestic assault occurred on Calypso St, around 3:30 a.m. on July 8. The investigation revealed that an altercation occurred between two males and a female.
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old male from Ottawa, was charged with:
- Three counts of spousal assault
- Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm – Spousal
- Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm
The accused is scheduled to appear in L’Orignal court on August 7.
EMBRUN — A 47-year-old male from Embrun was charged with spousal assault and failure to comply with probation order after a domestic dispute shortly before 3 a.m. on July 11.
The accused is scheduled to appear in L’Orignal court on July 31.
Identity theft
CASSELMAN — Two males and one female are facing identity related charges after a fraud complaint at a business on Principale St, Casselman shortly before 2:30 p.m., July 11. The investigation revealed that two males and one female attempted to use false identities.
As a result of the investigation, Chrysstyna Margaret Dillon, 23, of Brampton, was charged with:
- Two counts of Identity Theft – obtain or possess another person’s identity information
- Failure to Comply with Recognizance
- Possession of a credit card
- Two counts of Possession of an identity document
- Two counts of Personation with Intent (Identity Fraud)
- Two counts of Possession of a forged document with intent
- Possession of illicit cannabis
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
- Fraudulent use of certificate of citizenship
The accused is scheduled to appear in L’Orignal court on July 18.
Inti Sebastian Falero-Delgado, 22, of Oka, Quebec was charged with:
- Fraud Under $5000
The accused is scheduled to appear in L’Orignal court on July 18.
Yanniss Raemdonck-Bouaou, 22, of Montreal, was charged with:
- Personation with Intent – intent to obtain property (identity fraud)
- Two counts of Possession of an identity document
- Use, deals, acts on forged document
- Identity Theft – obtain or possess another person’s identity information
The accused is scheduled to appear in L’Orignal court on August 14.
Impaired Driver
While on patrol on July 13, a Russell County OPP officer observed a vehicle in front of him in violation of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) on Russell Rd. in Clarence-Rockland, shortly after 7 p.m.
The officer used the breathalyzer on the driver at the scene.
As a result, Evgueni Kouznetsov, 33, from Clarence-Rockland, was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused received a 90-day driver’s license suspension and the vehicle was also impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in L’Orignal court on August 7.
