CHESTERVILLE — A 31-year-old woman faces a charge of failing to yield, under the Highway Traffic Act, after an Acura turned in front of a westbound RV on County Rd. 43, according to the SD&G OPP.

The resulting July 10 collision clipped the car, sending it to the bottom of the northwest ditch at the intersection of South Street West and the county road. Both drivers sustained minor injuries, according to Const. Tylor Copeland.

Police do not name those charged exclusively with provincial offences, such as the Highway Traffic Act.

This article was edited to include the fact of minor injuries received by both drivers.
