Young female passenger identified after serious N. Stormont vehicle crash, June 20

NORTH STORMONT —  A serious collision shortly after 4:30 a.m., June 20, when the eastbound passenger vehicle left County Rd. 43 and rolled into a ditch between County Rd. 20 and Pigeon Hill Rd., according to the SD&G OPP.

The deceased, an adult female passenger, was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the detachment.

The adult female passenger has been identified as 18-year-old Logan Sunday, of South Glengarry, was pronounced deceased at scene.

The adult male driver, 25, of South Glengarry, was transported to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries. Police initially determined his injuries as life-threatening.

SD&G OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).
