ST. ANDREWS WEST — Local MP Guy Lauzon and wife Frances hosted their final constituency barbecue of his tenure representing Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry in the House of Commons.

A staple of the summer off-season for MP’s, it was 15th annual edition in the back yard of the St. Andrews West couple. Over 300 people attended, snacking on burgers, hotdogs and ice cream sticks while listening to live music.

The Conservative MP isn’t seeking re-election, making this the last in the series for the Lauzons — another milestone on the way to his retirement from elected office.

Former North Dundas Mayor Eric Duncan is carrying the Tory banner in the upcoming federal election this October.
