Youth male charged with shoplifting at North Dundas business and possession of stun gun

Youth male charged with shoplifting 

NORTH DUNDAS — A male youth removed items from a store on Main St. in North Dundas shortly before 3 p.m. on August 10.The accused youth was located and further investigation revealed that the youth was in possession of a weapon — a stun gun. 

A 16-year-old male of North Dundas was arrested and is charged with;

–         Theft Under $5000 – Shoplifting

–         Possession of a prohibited device

–         Possession of a prohibited device for a dangerous purpose

The accused was held in custody pending bail in Cornwall court.

 

Assault

SOUTH GLENGARRY — A 69-year-old male assaulted another at a business shortly before 3 p.m. on August 11. 

Christopher Conway of Oakville, was arrested and is charged with;

– Assault

– Causing a disturbance 

He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on September 11.

 

SOUTH DUNDAS — A male assaulted another at a South Dundas residence shortly after 10:3- p.m. on August 9.

Pierre Philippe, 35, of Casselman, was arrested and is charged with;

– Assault

He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on September 14. 

 

Impaired drivers

NORTH GLENGARRY — An adult male was charged with impaired driving after single-vehicle collision on Cty. Rd. 34, South Glengarry, shortly after 11 a.m. on August 9. 

Joan Kelly, 64, of North Glengarry, was arrested and is charged with;

– Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired

– Drive a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court, September 11.

 

NORTH DUNDAS — A male was charged with impaired driving shortly before 6:30 a.m. on August 10, during a traffic stop on Cty. Rd. 43, North Dundas.

Joel Gauthier, 28, of North Dundas, was arrested and is charged with;

– Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired

– Drive a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court August 26.

 

Breach of conditions

SOUTH GLENGARRY — A male, 29, was arrested for violation of previous release conditions shortly after 10 a.m. on August 10. Investigation revealed that he was in violation of previous release conditions in the domestic nature. 

A South Glengarry male, was arrested and is charged with;

– Two counts of Failure to Comply with conditions of an undertaking 

He was held in custody pending bail and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court.
