16-year-old charged after family dispute; break-in; assault

Break in

SOUTH DUNDAS — SD&G OPP responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on Cty. Rd. 2, shortly before 8 p.m. on August 27. Investigation indicated that sometime during the past several days culprit(s) entered the garage and removed various power tools, a Dewalt laser level and a Champion generator. The culprit(s) also removed a black 6 foot Miska Utility trailer and a Kubota 23S backhoe.

An Investigation continues.

Dispute leads to charges

CHESTERVILLE — SD&G OPP responded to a report of a family dispute on Thompson Rd. Chesterville, shortly after 6 a.m. on August 29. Investigation revealed that a male youth had damaged property within the home and assaulted family members. The male was also breaching previous release conditions.

A 16-year-old male of North Dundas, was arrested and is charged with;

– Mischief

– Failure to comply with conditions of a probation order

– Assault

– Assault with a weapon

– Uttering threats

He was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on September 19.

 

Assault – Domestic

SOUTH STORMONT — A domestic situation occurred shortly after 11 a.m. on August 12, in South Stormont. Investigation revealed that an adult accused had assaulted his wife.

A 63-year-old accused of South Stormont Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Assault

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on September 10.
