NORTH DUNDAS — Collect those pledges and plan on helping one of this country’s most famous and worthy causes on Sept. 15.
Organized by the Chesterville Rotary Club for nearly four decades, this community’s annual Terry Fox Run is set to put walkers and runners on a rural loop around North Dundas District High School that Sunday morning.
Since its local inception in 1982, the event — scheduled 8 a.m. until noon — has raised over $260,000 for cancer research through the Terry Fox Run. Last year’s tally alone was a record $14,322.
Participants check in at the high school and are monitored by Club members at a handful of stops along the route. Download pledge forms here.
Other local sites hosting the Run include Morrisburg, Embrun-Russell and Cornwall.
