WDMH — Congratulations to Dianne Lapier who is the winner of the WDMH Auxiliary 50/50 draw. Dianne takes home $1,000! One thousand tickets were sold at a cost of $2 each.

And there are more winners! The WDMH Auxiliary is raising funds to purchase a new baby monitor security system for WDMH. The total cost is $199,000.

“The WDMH Auxiliary offers a helping hand wherever we can at WDMH,” explains Auxiliary Co-Chair Elinor Jordan. “In addition to our work at the hospital each day, we also raise funds for important pieces of equipment.”

“Many people are surprised to learn that the provincial government does not pay for medical

equipment,” adds Auxiliary Co-Chair Lynn Dillabough. “We are happy to help.”

The 50/50 draw is just one of many fundraisers being planned by WDMH’s energetic volunteers. Watch for details on a wine and cheese raffle coming soon.
