OTTAWA —The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section has charged an Ottawa man following an investigation into allegations of child sexual assaults.

The investigation began September 10, 2019 when a victim came forward to report the abuse that had been ongoing for 5 years, involving two female victims under the age of 16.  The incidents occurred in Ottawa between 2014 and 2019.

On September 19, the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section arrested and charged Frank Weldon Roebuck, 69, of Ottawa, with two counts each of Sexual Assault per CC 271 and Sexual Interference per CC 151.
