Kin Club of Russell’s ‘Catch the Ace Lottery’ growing quickly

RUSSELL — This current “Catch the Ace” lottery, the third licence sponsored by the Kin Club of Russell, is growing three times as fast as the previous ones. The reason for this rapid growth? Six local charities of Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Breast Cancer Action Ottawa, Osgoode Care Centre, Russell Minor Hockey Association, Valoris Foundation and Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation have expanded both the area and clientele for this popular progressive lottery.

The jackpot after only five weeks, is anticipated to reach over $4,500 by Thanksgiving weekend.  The Kin Club of Russell holds its weekly draw on Sundays, 3:15 p.m. at Étienne Brûlé Brewery in Embrun.

As a first, the Kin Club of Russell developed an online version of the extremely popular lottery offered in many communities. Supporters of local charities can get their online tickets every week by going to https://kinclubofrussell.ca where they can choose one specific charity or all charities.  Tickets can only be purchased if you are in Ontario and over 18 years of age.
