ATV stolen in North Stormont

NORTH STORMONT — SD&G OPP responded to the reported theft of an ATV in North Stormont Oct. 20. The machine was taken from the Concession Rd. 3-4 property sometime during the previous week.

It’s a red and black 2011 Can Am Outlander with plate 87RC4.

Impaired charge in North Stormont

NORTH STORMONT — A woman is accused of alcohol-impaired driving following an Oct. 19 traffic stop on Highway 138.

The SD&G OPP reports the arrest of Casselman resident Marie-Eve Cossette, 28, who was pulled over around 1:45 p.m.

She was released to appear Nov. 5 in Cornwall court.

Domestic situation and mischief charge

SOUTH GLENGARRY — A man was arrested and charged with mischief in connection with a Oct. 19 domestic situation, only to be arrested and charged again the next day.

SD&G OPP officers responded shortly after 8:15 p.m. to the first incident on the 19th, in which the 41-year-old accused allegedly damaged by the involved South Glengarry residential address.

He was released to appear Nov. 24 on a charge of mischief.

Shortly before 8:20 p.m. the following evening, Oct. 20, responded to the address and found the man in breach of previous conditions.

Arrested and charged with two counts of failing comply with conditions of undertaking, he was scheduled for a bail hearing in Cornwall.

South Stormont mischief

SOUTH STORMONT —  Shortly after 9:20 p.m. on Oct. 17,  SD&G OPP officers responded to a reported domestic situation in South Stormont. Their investigation revealed an adult accused had damaged the residence.

A 39-year-old accused of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and charged with mischief.

The individual was released from custody and scheduled to appear Nov. 12 in Cornwall court.
