Car collides with Embrun house, teen driver charged

EMBRUN — An 18-year-old Embrun resident faces a charge of careless driving after a car crashed through the wall of a Maheau Street house yesterday, Nov. 3.

Russell County OPP officers responded to the single-vehicle collision at the house around 6 a.m. According to the detachment, the involved vehicle was westbound on Castlebeau when the driver lost control.

The teenager behind the wheel suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital by Prescott-Russell Emergency Services.

Russell County OPP report that Eden Nymaway Francoeur Nimmo, 18, has been charged with the Highway Traffic Act offence of careless driving.
