Drugs and stolen property seized in Winchester, two teens and 43-year-old charged

WINCHESTER — Three individuals have been arrested and charged following an Oct. 31 police raid at a Caleb Street address that yielded crystal methamphetamine, cocaine and stolen property.

According to the SD&G OPP, the action also turned up Canadian currency. Officers with the detachment’s Community Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team assisted in the execution of the search warrant.

Arrested and charged are Tawana Dillon, 43, of North Dundas, a 17-year-old North Dundas resident, and a 16-year-old from Ottawa, according to the detachment.

Dillon is charged with possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking; possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime – under $5,000 ( four counts); and possession of a controlled substance.

The 17-year-old accused is charged with: possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime – under $5,000; theft under $5000 – shoplifting; and fail to comply with conditions of a probation order.

The 16-year-old accused is charged with: possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime – under $5000; and theft under $5,000 – shoplifting.

The older teen was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Cornwall court.

Dillon and the younger teen were released to appear Dec. 3 in Morrisburg court.
