EMBRUN — Russell County OPP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a middle-aged male motorist who stopped and offered a ride to a young person on Notre-Dame Street.
The detachment received a complaint about the incident Nov. 6.
The involved man is 50 to 60 years old, caucasian and skinny with grey or white hair. He wore a long-sleeve white and blue dress shirt and spoke fluent English.
He was behind the wheel of a clean, dark red, four-door hatchback, similar to a 2016 Hyundai Elantra or older. The vehicle bore Ontario plates beginning with a “B.”
In light of the incident, police encourage parents to discuss and review “Stranger Danger” tips with their children.
