Model trains to pull into St. Clare’s Anglican Church Dec. 7, to benefit Community Food Share

WINCHESTER — Seaway Valley Railroaders are pleased to announce an opportunity to have the public discover the joy of model railroading at St. Clare’s Anglican Church on the outskirts of Winchester on Saturday, December 7 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Tom Savary of Morewood has organized an event which combines his enthusiasm for model trains with  supporting Community Food Share as the holiday season approaches. Reverend Cannon John Wilcox, incumbent of St. Clare’s Anglican Church, commented how the event provides “a great opportunity for the community to come together to see of the hobbyists whose joy of trains will make your day.”

During the event you will be able to peruse model train layouts, learn a bit about the hobby which for many begins with a toy train on Christmas leading to a life-time of fellowship and fun.
