Car crashes into wig shop wall at Iroquois Plaza

IROQUOIS — Police, fire and ambulance services have all responded this afternoon to the scene of a car that smashed into the exterior wall of a wig shop at the Iroquois Plaza.

Photos sent to NVN show the small vehicle up against the masonry and glass wall, having come to rest on the mall sidewalk after leaving the parking lot. It appears the white car may have driven over one of the low rubber bumper curbs intended to prevent cars from entering the pedestrian area.

Update: SD&G OPP Const. Tylor Copeland says the driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, with “no charges at this time.”
