‘Concern for his safety and safety of others’, police seek missing man, call 9-1-1 if seen

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing Dale Southwind, 39, of Ottawa. Dale was last seen on November 23 in the 1100 block of Carling Avenue. There are concerns for his safety and the safety of others. If you see him call 9-1-1, please do not approach him.

Dale is described as an Indigenous male, 6’1”, 240 lbs medium build, with black hair, clean shaven and black glasses (see photos).

He was last seen wearing blue pants, a light brown jacket, black toque or black baseball hat and black running shoes.

He is known to frequent the Algonquin College and City of Pembroke areas.
