Lillian Thatcher

Peacefully at the Hartford Retirement Home in Morrisburg on Friday, November 29, Lillian Thatcher (nee Fitzpatrick) of Morrisburg, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Bill Thatcher. Loving mother of Steven Thatcher (Pauline) of Black Lake, Saskatchewan, Nancy Perry (Jamie) of Orleans, David Thatcher (Tracey) of Chesterville and Brian Thatcher of Metcalfe. Dear sister of Dorothy Ross (Al) and Bertha Fogarty, both of Ottawa. Lillian will be fondly remembered by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Kathleen Fitzpatrick, Evelyn Rochon, Hilda Fitzpatrick, Teresa Fitzpatrick, Margaret Fitzpatrick, Doris Fitzpatrick, Patricia Combs and her brothers Earle, Burte, Maurice, Kenneth and Norman Fitzpatrick. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

Funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Morrisburg, on Tuesday, December 3 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
