Theft of alcohol by minor
WINCHESTER — A youth stole alcohol from the LCBO in Winchester around 3 p.m. on February 9.
The 17-year-old from North Dundas was arrested and is charged with;
– Theft Under $5000 – Shoplifting
– Three counts of Failure to comply with conditions of a probation order
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
– Person under 19 years having liquor (Liquor Licence Act)
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on March 5.
NORTH DUNDAS — A 46-year-old woman has been arrested after a domestic situation shortly after 10 a.m. on February 9. Investigation revealed that an adult accused had assaulted her partner and caused damage to his property.
A 46-year-old of North Dundas, was arrested and is charged with;
– Failure to comply with conditions of probation order
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on March 3.
BAINSVILLE — A snowmobile was stolen from a property on 171st Avenue, Bainsville sometime overnight February 8-9. The theft was reported to police around 12 p.m. the next day. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight February 8-9, culprits attended the property and removed a Green and Black 2018 Skidoo Renegade X-Tec 1200.
An investigation continues.
Refusal to provide sample
SOUTH GLENGARRY — SD&G OPP responded to a single vehicle collision on 4th Line Road, South Glengarry, involving a passenger vehicle on February 7, shortly after 2 a.m.
The driver, 41, refused to provide a breath sample for the roadside screening device upon request from police.
Trysa Steppings was arrested and is charged with;
– Failure or Refuse to provide Sample
The driver was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on March 4.
