CHESTERVILLE — Eastern Ontario’s fabric, fibre and textile-craft extravaganza runs until 4 p.m. this afternoon, Feb. 15, at the Chesterville Legion.

The annual Spin-In typically fills the Hall with traditional wool-spinning and yarn-making enthusiasts and related vendors.

Last year’s 20th annual event drew 19 vendors and 121 attendees, plus a small group of 4-H members who came out to learn about wool and how it is turned into knitting yarn.

Organized by the Chesterville Historical Society, the Spin-In has grown in reputation and size through two decades, moving out of the smaller Nelson LaPrade Centre three years ago in favour of the larger Legion.

Admission is $5 at the door. Children under 12 enter free.
