Break-in at N. Grenville business; snowmobile collision; impaired driver charged

Theft at a business

NORTH GRENVILLE — Grenville OPP responded to a report of a break in at a business on County Road 43 around 10 p.m., North Grenville on February 14.  Investigation indicated that the culprits smashed the front door and took off with approximately $200 worth of product from the location.

Snowmobile collision

AUGUSTA — A snowmobile driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries after losing control of the vehicle. Grenville OPP responded to the incident around 9 p.m. on Kyle Road in Augusta, February 15.

Impaired driver

EDWARDSBURGH — Grenville OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision shortly after 7 a.m. on February 16, on County Road 44 in Edwardsburgh. Police say, the Approved Screening Device (ASD) was used at the scene and the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

As a result Natasha Seed, 36, of North Grenville, was charged with:

  •  Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs – Criminal Code s.320.14(1)(a)
  •  Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) Criminal Code s.320.14(1)(b)

The driver was released and is scheduled to appear in Brockville court on March 6.
