EASTERN ONTARIO — Dr. Paul Roumeliotis, Eastern Ontario Medical Officer of Health, says the second confirmed case of COVID-19 in his region, a man in his 60s who recently travelled to the UK, had arrived back in Canada via Ottawa International Airport and was tested at an Ottawa cornavirus testing centre.

The doctor offered details on the case in his daily media briefing yesterday. (See video above). The involved individual, a resident of Prescott-Russell, is now in self-isolation with his wife. A person who had driven him to the testing site has also gone into self-isolation.
