Impaired driver
SOUTH GLENGARRY — SD&G OPP responded to a single vehicle collision on County Road 27, South Glengarry shortly after 8:30 p.m. on April 27. Investigation revealed that the adult driver was under the influence of a drug.
Nadia Roy, 45, of Mascouche, Quebec was arrested and is charged with;
– Operation while Impaired – Drugs
– Possession of a controlled substance – Ecstasy
– Failure to stop after accident – Highway Traffic Act
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on July 8.
Threats
NORTH STORMONT — SD&G OPP officers responded to a report a disturbance at a residence at 11:30 p.m. on April 27 in North Stormont. Investigation revealed that an adult accused had uttered threats towards several people at the residence including an ex-partner.
A 32-year-old of Cornwall, was arrested and is charged with;
– Six counts of Uttering Threats
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on June 23.
Traffic stops results in charges
NORTH GLENGARRY — A SD&G OPP officer stopped a vehicle shortly after 1 p.m. on April 28, on County Rd. 45 in North Glengarry. A check of the driver revealed that the driver’s driving privileges were disqualified stemming from previous driving related offences. The driver was also in breach of previous release conditions.
Eric Cote, 40, of North Glengarry, was arrested and is charged with;
– Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code.
– Failure to comply with conditions of a release order
The driver was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on July 8.
