Smashed car windows
SOUTH STORMONT – SD&G OPP received a report of two vehicles that had their windows smashed out on Dickinson Drive and Wales Road in Ingleside shortly before 10 a.m. on May 8.
Investigation revealed that unknown culprits caused damage to the vehicles’ in the previous overnight hours. Similar incidents have been reported to Cornwall Police Service.
An investigation continues.
Super Speeders
SD&G – SD&G OPP officers conducted speed measuring enforcement between May 8 and 10 and intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicles were impounded and their driver’s permits seized for seven days in accordance to policy and were charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
SOUTH DUNDAS – An 18-year-old driver from Cornwall was stopped traveling 157km/h in a 100km/h zone, Highway 401, shortly after 2 p.m. on May 8, South Dundas.
SOUTH DUNDAS – A 49-year-old driver from Pickering was stopped traveling 154km/h in a 100km/h zone, Highway 401, shortly after 8:30 a.m. on May 9, South Dundas.
SOUTH DUNDAS – A 44-year-old driver from Burlington was stopped traveling 157km/h in a 100km/h zone, Highway 401, shortly before 4 p.m. on May 10, South Dundas.
