Mischief charge laid during family dispute

NORTH DUNDAS – SD&G OPP responded to a report of family dispute in North Dundas around 8 p.m. on May 18. Investigation revealed that an adult had caused damage to the family home.

A 37-year-old of North Dundas, was arrested and is charged with;

–             Mischief over $5000

The accused was held in custody for bail and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice.

Mischief charge laid during domestic situation

NORTH GLENGARRY – A domestic situation occurred in North Glengarry around 2 p.m. on May 19. Investigation revealed that an adult had caused damage to the residence.

A 30-year-old accused of North Glengarry, was arrested and is charged with;

– Mischief

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on July 7.

 

Super speeders

SD&G – SD&G OPP officers conducted speed measuring enforcement in SD&G between May 16 and 20 and intercepted several vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicles were impounded and their driver’s permit seized for seven days in accordance to policy and were charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).

CORNWALL – a 51-year-old driver from Cornwall was stopped shortly after 12 a.m. on May 16, traveling 133 km/h on McConnell Ave.,a 70km/h zone.

SOUTH DUNDAS – A 25-year-old driver from Lasalle, Que. was stopped shortly after 2:30 p.m. on May 19, traveling 160 km/h on Hwy. 401, a 100km/h zone. .

SOUTH STORMONT – A 30-year-old driver from Toronto was stopped shortly before 12 p.m. on May 20, 2020 traveling 154 km/h on Hwy. 401, a 100km/h zone.
