NORTH DUNDAS — An altercation at a Mill Street, Chesterville, address concluded with the arrest of a Kingston resident on charges that include carrying a concealed weapon and possession of an imitation weapon, among others.
Police responded to the disturbance shortly after 7:15 p.m. on June 2, with area residents reporting a number of cruisers hurrying westbound down County Rd. 43 toward Chesterville that evening.
According to the SD&G OPP, the altercation involved several individuals — one of whom threatened a victim with “a weapon.”
A quantity of methamphetamine was also seized, according to the detachment, which reports the arrest of Tony Steacy, 28, of Kingston.
Police say Steacy is charged with:
• Possession of a controlled substance;
• Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm;
• Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose;
• and carry concealed weapon.
The accused was released from custody to appear Aug. 4 in Cornwall Court.
