Four charged with drug-related charges after execution of a search warrant in South Dundas

SOUTH DUNDAS — Members of OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) seized illegal drugs and prohibited weapons while executing a search warrant on May 29 at an apartment on Cty. Rd. 18 in Williamsburg.

Officers located suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone and clonazepam. They also seized restricted weapons, ammunition, unstamped cigarettes and items typically connected to drug trafficking.

Chase De Decker, 24, of South Dundas has been charged with:

  • Two counts of Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order – Criminal Code (CC) sec. 117.01(1) 
  • Two counts of Unauthorized possession of a weapon – CC sec. 91(2) 
  • Two counts of Fail to comply with a Probation Order – sec. 733.1(1) 
  • Two counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) sec. 5(2)

Courtland Jollota, 24, of South Dundas is charged with:

  • Three counts of Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order – CC sec. 117.01(1)
  • Two counts of Unauthorized possession of a weapon – CC sec. 91(2)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 – CC sec. 354(1)(a)
  • Three counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – CDSA sec. 5(2)

Ashley Helder, 31, of South Dundas is charged with:

  • Two counts of Unauthorized possession of a weapon – CC sec. 91(2)
  • Two counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – CDSA sec. 5(2)

A 16-year-old female, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with two counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking – CDSA sec. 5(2).

The accused have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court later this year.
