21-year-old charged with numerous counts of assault and mischief

Assault – Domestic

SOUTH DUNDAS — A domestic situation occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. on June 10, in South Dundas. Investigation revealed that an adult accused had assaulted the victim on multiple occasions.

A 21-year-old accused of South Dundas, was arrested and is charged with;

– Two counts of Assault 

– Two counts of Mischief – destroy or damage property 

– Overcome resistance by attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle another person

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court,  September 1.

 

Super Speeders

NORTH GLENGARRY — A 27-year-old driver was stopped traveling 143km/h on Hwy. 43, an 80km/h zone, at 8 p.m. June 10. 

The vehicle was impounded and their driver’s permits seized for seven days in accordance to policy and were charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
