Breach of Conditions – Domestic

SOUTH GLENGARRY —SD&G OPP responded to a report of an accused breaching conditions in South Glengarry shortly after 8 a.m. on June 14. Investigation revealed that an adult accused was breaching previous release conditions.

The 30-year-old accused of South Glengarry, was arrested and is charged with;

– Two counts of Fail to comply with release order- other than to attend court

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice.


Super speeders

SD&G — SD&G OPP conducted speed measuring enforcement, June 13 to 16, SD&G and intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicles were impounded and their driver’s permits seized for seven days in accordance to policy and were charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).

SOUTH GLENGARRY — A 39-year-old driver from Ontario was stopped, traveling 137km/h in an 80km/h zone, a construction zone on Hwy. 401 shortly after 5:30 p.m. on June 13.

SOUTH STORMONT — A 40-year-old driver from York was stopped shortly after 8 p.m. on June 13, traveling 190km/h on HWY. 401, a 100km/h zone. 

SOUTH STORMONT — A 26-year-old driver from Quebec was stopped, traveling 158km/h on Hwy. 410, a 100km/h zone around 2:30 p.m. on June 14.

SOUTH DUNDAS — A 21-year-old driver from Oakville was stopped, traveling 169km/h on Hwy 401, a 100km/h zone, shortly after 1 p.m. on June 15. 

NORTH GLENGARRY — A 23-year-old driver from Ottawa was stopped traveling 170km/h on Hwy. 417, a 110km/h zone shortly after 1 p.m. on June 16.  

CORNWALL — A 34-year-old driver from Cornwall was stopped, traveling 129km/h on Industrial Dr., a 70km/h zone, shortly before 11:45 a.m. on June 16.
