Charges laid against two of four individuals connected to Jan. 7 break-in

NORTH GLENGARRY — SD&G OPP have arrested two of the four individuals connected to a break-in at a North Glengarry residence, around 1 a.m. on January 7.

The investigation has determined that four individuals, wearing disguises, attempted to break into the residence on Hwy. 43. The suspects had various weapons but were confronted by the home owner and fled in a vehicle.

The victims were not injured.

46-year-old, Jason Durion, of Cornwall, was arrested and charged on January 11, with;

–             Break and enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence

–             Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose

–             Conspiracy to commit indictable offence

–             Disguise with intent

Durion was held in custody and was scheduled to appear in Cornwall court.

 

Stepha Franklin, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested and charged on June 24, with;

–             Break and enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence

–             Conspiracy to commit indictable offence

–             Disguise with intent

–            Four counts of Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order

Franklin was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court.

SD&G Crime unit continue to investigate.
