Man charged for shooting at targets in wrong direction

SOUTH GLENGARRY – A South Glengarry man has been charged after shooting his gun in the wrong direction. According to police they responded to a weapons call on Concession Rd. 7 in South Glengarry shortly after 1 p.m. on June 20. Their investigation revealed an adult was target shooting in the area in an unsafe direction.

A 49 year -old male of South Glengarry, was arrested and charged with;

– Careless use of Firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition.

The accused was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court, September 2.
