Investigation continues after a break-in at S. Glengarry business; super speeders

Break-in

SOUTH GLENGARRY Police are investigating after unknown culprit(s) broke into a business on Cty. Rd. 2 in South Glengarry, shortly before 2:30 p.m. on June 29.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight the culprit(s) attended the residence and removed several tools.

An Investigation continues.

 

Super speeders

SD&G — SD&G OPP conducted speed measuring enforcement in SD&G between June 25-29 and intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicles were impounded and their driver’s permits seized for seven days in accordance to policy and were charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).

SOUTH DUNDAS — A 29-year-old driver from Scarborough was stopped travelling 158km/h on Hwy. 401, a 100km/h zone, shortly after 3 p.m. on June 25. 

SOUTH STORMONT — A 19-year-old driver from Pierrefonds, Que. was stopped travelling 162km/h on Hwy. 401, a 100km/h zone, shortly before 11:30 a.m. on June 27.

SOUTH STORMONT — A 56-year-old from Cornwall was stopped travelling 132km/h on Hwy. 138, an 80km/h zone, shortly before 12 a.m. on June 29.
