Multiple drivers charged with impaired driving

Impaired drivers

SOUTH GLENGARRY — SD&G OPP responded to a report of an impaired driver operating a boat on the St. Lawrence River, shortly after 12:15 p.m. July 1, South Glengarry.  

Investigation revealed that the adult driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Daniel Coleman, 53, of Cornwall, was arrested and is charged with;

– Operation while Impaired – alcohol

– Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration – plus 80

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on September 2.

 

NORTH DUNDAS — A 34-year-old male is charged with impaired driving after a two-vehicle collision occurred on Carmen Rd., North Dundas, shortly after 2:30 p.m. on June 26. Investigation revealed one of the drivers did not remain at the location. Officers located the driver shortly thereafter.

Further Investigation revealed that the adult driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Kyle Brown, 34, of North Stormont, was arrested and is charged with;

– Operation while Impaired – alcohol

– Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration – plus 80

– Failure to stop after accident

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on September 1. 

 

NORTH STORMONT — A driver was charged with impaired driving after SD&G OPP conducted a traffic stop shortly after 11 a.m. on June 28, on Cty., North Stormont.  

Investigation revealed that the adult driver was under the influence of a drug. The driver also resisted arrest.

Nancy Cote, 44, of South Stormont, was arrested and is charged with;

– Operation while Impaired – Drugs

– Resist Peace officer

– Possession of a controlled substance – cocaine

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court in August.
