SOUTH GLENGARRY — SD&G OPP officers conducted a traffic stop shortly after 2 p.m. on June 28 and intercepted a stolen vehicle on Highway 401, South Glengarry. The investigation revealed that an adult driver was in possession of a stolen Grey 2017 Lexus SUV from Toronto. Shortly thereafter SD&G OPP officers stopped a second stolen Grey Lexus RX5 SUV from Toronto, on Highway 401, South Glengarry, driven by an adult. Both drivers were arrested.
Anthony-Enrique Abarzua-Soto, 21, of Montreal, was arrested and charged with;
- Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
Gaven Roberge, 18, Saint-Hubert, Quebec was arrested and charged with:
– Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
Both accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Alexandria court, September 2.
Stolen ATV
SOUTH MOUNTAIN An ATV was reported stolen to SD&G OPP shortly after 10 a.m. on June 28, South Mountain. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight a 2004 yellow Suzuki L5F four wheeler (plate 6CV08) was removed from a Sandy Row Rd. residence.
An investigation continues.
