Obituary – Eric Hamilton

Eric Hamilton

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we say goodbye to Eric Hamilton, 37, who passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, July 11. He leaves behind his son, Nicholas, his fur baby, Chubbé, that he loved so much, his Mom, Monica Hamilton of Spencerville, his Dad, Ray Hamilton and his adored Aunt Marg of Chesterville, his brothers, Chris Hamilton (Lindsay) of South Mountain and Mike Marchand (Michelle) of Kanata, his sister, Natalie Marchand of Cardinal, his step-brothers, Sid and Jason Odjick and his step-sister, Diane Odjick, all of Maniwaki. He also leaves behind his very special friend, Sheena Eamer who loved and cared for him for the last 13 years, his many aunts and uncles, his best friends Jon Talbot, Dave Allen, Bernard Kirkby, Kris Balog and all his other friends and co-workers that had a special place in his heart.

He was predeceased by his step-dad, Gerald Marchand, his paternal grandparents, Alex and Mary Hamilton and his maternal grandparents, John and Pauline Krauss.

Eric had a love of music and always surrounded himself with as much of it as he could.

“Eric, you will forever be the “Country Music Bass Player” and your audience now is the Universe and you are the Master.”

Rest in peace Eric and it is not goodbye, but until we meet again. We will love you forever.
