Driver charged with Personation with Intent to avoid arrest

SOUTH STORMONT — A 23-year-old was charged with personation with intent to avoid arrest, during a traffic stop on Hwy. 401 in South Stormont, shortly before 2 p.m. on July 19.  Investigation revealed the driver gave false identification to officers.

Holdy Duvil, 23, from Montreal, was arrested and is charged with;

– Personation with intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice

The driver was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall on October 22.

Stolen ATV

NORTH DUNDAS — An ATV was reported stolen from a residence on River Rd., North Dundas, shortly after 11 a.m. on July 18. According to police, their investigation indicated that sometime overnight on July 17, a 2001 Red Suzuki LT F300F King Quad with plate 57AV0 was removed from the property. An investigation continues.
