Russell County OPP seeking possible surveillance video regarding ongoing homicide investigation

ROCKLAND — Russell County OPP, under direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), is seeking potential video from the public in relation to a homicide investigation.

OPP were called to a residence on Lemay Circle in Rockland shortly before 12 p.m. on July 24, where they located a deceased 42-year-old male and a second male, 41-years old, with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The OPP is asking for the assistance of anyone who may have any video surveillance systems within the following defined areas to contact them. 

  • The area of the Town of Rockland – see attached map, as well as
  • The areas of Russell County specifically along Highways 17, 174 and 34 between Rockland and Gloucester.
