Terry Fox Walk a ‘go’ this Friday at NDDHS!

by Jamie Wilson
NDDHS Minister of Communications

North Dundas is excited to announce that we will be holding our annual Terry Fox Walk this Friday, October 9. The school is thankful that we were able to get this event approved because 2020 marks the 40th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. The event will look a little different this year with each grade participating at different times to keep the cohorts of students separate.

Donations are all going to be online this year. If you would like to support our school and Terry’s dream to end cancer, you can donate directly to our school at terryfox.org. Click the donate button and select the option to donate to a student or school. Select North Dundas District High School and make your donation. Any donation, no matter how small is appreciated.

As we enter the Thanksgiving season, we are taking time to thank the people who help us during these challenging times, and we encourage everyone to do the same. At North Dundas we would like to thank our family, friends, teachers, essential workers, community members, and everyone else helping our students through these times.

The students continue to adjust well to life at school and the Student Council is working hard to maintain positivity and school spirit!
