EASTERN ONTARIO — Municipal plow trucks, salters and sanders made their debut for “winter 2020-21” this morning as the region endured its first slushy mess of the season. Several centimetres of snow fell yesterday and last night — the first substantial accumulation of the season in the Nation Valley — but was starting to melt this morning with temperatures hovering just above the freezing mark.
