Dairy Farmers’ #FillUpWithLove campaign underway with supportive messages and a gigantic glass of milk

OTTAWA — Last year, Dairy Farmers of Ontario introduced the Milk and Cookies campaign during the Christmas season — serving up a $500,000 donation benefiting SickKids in Toronto as well as the local children’s hospitals in Ottawa, London, and Hamilton.

Now, with the holiday season even more challenging for those in the province’s children’s hospitals, Ontario dairy farmers are taking their show of support a step further.

Since December 1st, DFO has been rallying Ontarians to share messages of support with patients, families, and front-line workers on social media using the hashtag #FillUpWithLove and tagging @ontariodairy on Twitter. Throughout the month of December, messages will be captured and projected onto a giant, 18-foot milk glass, filling up as more messages are shared.  While the milk glass has been placed in Toronto’s iconic Distillery District and will remain there until just before Christmas Eve, residents across all of Ontario can simply show their support by sharing messages of support on social media.

Most importantly, these messages will be shared directly with those inside local children’s hospitals, including CHEO in Ottawa.
