NORTH DUNDAS — Alleged to have fraudulently obtained prescription medication in Chesterville, a man and a woman now face Criminal Code charges.
SD&G OPP officers arrested the pair after responding to the Chesterville establishment shortly after 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 20.
The detachment reports that North Dundas residents Michael Turchetti, 49, and Patricia Turchetti, 44, were released to appear April 6 in Morrisburg court. He’s charged with one count of Fraud Under of $5,000 while she’s charged with two counts of the same.
Assault charges for 65-year-old woman
SOUTH STORMONT — The SD&G OPP responded to a dispute taking place on Frost Avenue in South Stormont, Jan. 18 at 3:45 p.m. Initial investigation revealed an adult female involved had assaulted the victim multiple times.
As a result, the detachment reports the arrest of 65-year-old Suzanne Kennedy from South Stormont, now facing two counts of assault.
Kennedy is due to appear March 2 in Cornwall court.
Impaired and uncooperative in North Stormont
NORTH STORMONT — SD&G responded to reports about a single-vehicle collision in North Stormont on Thursday, January 21st. Upon arrival, police determined the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. However, the detachment says the motorist refused to cooperate with officers or complete roadside testing and then resisted arrest.
According to the SD&G OPP, Champlain Township resident Judith Wilcox, 58, is charged with Resisting a Peace officer and Failure or refusal to comply with a demand
Wilcox is due Feb. 11 in Cornwall court.
