Patients sent to hospital as firefighters respond to Williamsburg blaze

WILLIAMSBURG — The South Dundas Fire & Emergency Services is actively responding to a structure fire located at 12698 County Road 18 Williamsburg. Patients have been transported to the hospital. This is a multiple alarm incident.

The initial cause assessment is unknown, according to the fire authorities in South Dundas. Utility outages are not expected. There are no building exposure issues. Road closures are expected for two hours. The incident commander estimates crews to be on scene for two hours as of 7:30 p.m.
