Snow keeps kids out of classrooms another day

EASTERN ONTARIO — Just as the province has allowed classrooms to reopen, Mother Nature has intervened to shut down the buses to school today. Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario says buses aren’t running because of the substantial snowfall received last night.

Today would have been just the second day back to physical classrooms for many students in the region since the Christmas holidays, plus a January closure imposed by the province as it battles the COVID-19 pandemic.
