LONG SAULT — Bodo Schmidt is celebrating after winning a $100,000 lottery prize.
The Long Sault resident bought the top prize-winning Instant Crossword Tripler ticket at Mac’s on Moulinette Road, says the OLG.
It was a pleasant surprise to see the matching words on his ticket, says the 73-year-old retiree.
“It’s been quite a windfall for us. It will enhance our lives,” says Schmidt, who plans to share his windfall with family and loved ones.
With a top prize of $100,000, Instant Crossword Tripler is available for $5 per play. Odds of winning any prize in the game are 1 in 3.61, according to the OLG.
