Kin Club of Russell’s Catch the Ace jackpot surpasses $244K, yet to be won

RUSSELL — The ace continues to prove elusive in the Kin Club of Russell’s lottery fundraiser, with a jackpot now exceeding $244,000 — second largest in the province.

That’s the upshot of the draw conducted this past Sunday, in which the weekly winner failed to pull the ace from the dwindling supply of envelopes.

Six charities are benefiting from funds raised: (Cystic Fibrosis Canada (Ottawa Chapter), Breast Cancer Action Ottawa, Osgoode Care Centre, Russell Minor Hockey Association, Valoris Foundation and the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation).
