Latest ‘Writing in 150’ competition winners announced

CHESTERVILLE — A Bunch of People Arts and Events, in conjunction with Perch magazine, have announced the winners of the 3rd Annual Writing in 150 writing competition.

On March 27, 2021, at 11 a.m., 25 writers sat down and within 150 minutes wrote their literary or musical entry based on a word prompt. In June 2021, the first, second and third place winners of the five categories will be published in a hard copy collection of works published by local publishers Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood Publishing Inc.

‘This year, we are really excited to be working with Perch magazine to debut the 1st place winners’ work for everyone. These excellent literary and musical pieces will be presented on Perch magazine’s website debuting at 10 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2021,” Amanda Burger of A Bunch of People stated. “We love working with other organizations toward creating more appreciation of the great talent in Cornwall, SD&G and Akwesasne.”
