The long wait is over! The Ace of Spades is back!

RUSSELL — It’s been a long wait, but it’s all worth it. The Kin Club of Russell’s Catch the Ace fundraiser is back. And those who bought tickets way back in April will finally get to play again with the next draw set for this Sunday.

“Due to the provincial lockdown, the draws were suspended to keep everyone safe and at home,” explains Cindy Ault Peters, the Foundation’s Manager of Direct Mail and Events. “Even without draws, the excitement has been building. The WDMH Foundation is so grateful to the Kin Club of Russell and to everyone who has tried to Catch the Ace in support of the WDMH Foundation’s General Equipment Fund, as well as other charities in our region.”

There are now only 9 envelopes left and the jackpot stands at $335,683.50. The next weekly win will be more than $19,000. The next draw is scheduled for this Sunday at 3:15 PM in Russell. People who bought tickets between April 4th and 11th are in the draw.
